About Elizabeth Eaton

Elizabeth Eaton was born in Canada and has lived and travelled to various places such South America and Ireland, Spain, China, Korea, Japan and London, England.
She has been envolved in the Creative Spirit East collective since it's inception in 2002 and involved in Veith Street Gallery since 2009. For a time, she taught Life Drawing there and hopes in the future to teach ceramics. An avid sketcher, she turned to digital photography when she realized how much easier it is to capture a moment on her travels with a digital camera, rather than sketching each scene. She started out photographing landscapes, but since October 2011, with the "Seeing the Eyes Through Different Worlds" exhibit where each photographer was invited to submit their abstracts, experimented with abstract photography and the 2012 calendar shoots, where each member had to pick a concept for a calendar month, experimented with self portraiture and portraiture, exploring the death of Marat as her concept for the calendar. With the inception of the CSE Shutterbugs in February 2012, she has branched out even more, creating a visual diary of her life, including pictures of her garden, and other aspects of interest.
